The three windows of the sanatorium's marble hall are being fitted with new curtains. Just like the floor-to-ceiling curtains of the Casa de Vidro, the home of architect Lina Bo Bardi, they cover the glass windows. Partially opened, they seem to offer a view of a jungle-like garden. The space of the picture becomes the space of the viewer. Printed lengths of fabric show the vertical fold structure and the woven texture of the curtains. The materiality of the depicted object and the image carrier become one.

The curtain is flanked by a glass circle printed with plants reflected in the window. The motif of the circle runs through the entire house and becomes the mirror surface of what is one of the subjects of Art Nouveau, the plant as an ornament and ephemeral phenomenon.

Die drei Fenster der Marmorhalle des Sanatoriums erhalten neue Vorhänge. Genauso wie die raumhohen Vorhänge der Casa de Vidro, dem Wohnhaus der Architektin Lina Bo Bardi, bedecken die sie die Glasfenster. Partiell geöffnet geben sie scheinbar den Blick auf einen dschungelartigen Garten frei. Der Raum des Bildes wird der Raum des Betrachters. Bedruckte Stoffbahnen zeigen die vertikale Faltenstruktur und die gewebte Textur der Vorhänge. Die Materialität von Abgebildetem und Bildträger fallen in eins.

Flankiert wird der Vorhang von einem gläsernen Kreis, der – mit sich im Fenster spiegelnden Pflanzen – bedruckt ist. Das Motiv des Kreises zieht sich durch das gesamte Haus wird zur Spiegelfläche dessen was eines der Sujets des Jugendstils ist, die Pflanze als Ornament und ephemere Erscheinung.
